Process and Capabilities

Molding Process

• 100% no bake

• Pacemaster 75, 160 lbs. per minute

• Shell cores and molds available upon request

• Quiptec 2500 mold manipulator for 48" x 52" mold handling

Melting Process

• Two Inductotherm 1000 lb. electric induction furnaces capable of producing 14,000 lbs per day. Casting sized form 1/2 lb to 1000 lbs.

• ARL 34,000 Optical Emission Quantometer for chemical analysis of each heat

Welding

• Welders and procedures qualified to ASME Section IX of the Boiler Code

Inspection

• Magnetic Particle Inspection with Operators Level II Certified

Finishing

• Standard cut-off grinding equipment. Wolf can also provide finished machined products.

Heat Treatment

• 4' x 8' furnace for annealing and normalizing. Other heat treat operations performed by local subcontractors.

Outside Services

• Physical certifications, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, & radiography testing all performed by local subcontractors.

Pattern Storage

• Patterns stored in temperature controlled building
